In Autumn 2024, we recently had the pleasure of working with Kestrel Global, a private strategic advisory firm based in Dubai, to undertake a full brand refresh and website redesign.
With Kestrel Global’s deep-rooted expertise in the Middle East, having over 60 years of combined experience, the firm needed a digital presence that not only reflected its prestigious status but also aligned with its mission of facilitating commercial success for clients across the region. With such a unique value proposition, it was important that the brand’s refresh stayed true to its core values of innovation, insight, and regional expertise while also communicating the company’s commitment to the future of the post-oil economy.
Our first step was to deeply understand Kestrel Global’s audience: high-level decision-makers in various industries from across the globe, seeking strategic guidance in the Middle East. We focused on ensuring the brand represented the sophistication, authority, and nuanced understanding that Kestrel Global brings to its advisory services.
The Brand Refresh
The aim of the brand refresh was to modernise Kestrel Global’s visual identity while maintaining a sense of professionalism and heritage. We explored various visual elements that would embody the firm’s core values. The new logo design was created to evoke both the sharp precision of a kestrel and the dynamic nature of the business landscape Kestrel Global operates in. Clean lines and bold typography were used to communicate strength and clarity, which is exactly what Kestrel Global delivers to its clients.
Color played a significant role in the refresh, with a palette that balances modernity and tradition. We selected a deep navy blue, symbolising trust and authority, paired with accents of gold to reflect success and prestige. This combination was crucial in ensuring that Kestrel Global’s brand stood out while conveying its ethos of insight and strategic excellence.
Website Redesign
For the website redesign, our goal was to create a seamless user experience that would immediately resonate with potential clients while delivering Kestrel Global’s message clearly and effectively. The previous website didn’t fully capture the firm’s forward-thinking approach, and our task was to present Kestrel Global as a modern advisory powerhouse.
We employed a minimalist design that prioritises easy navigation and content accessibility. Given Kestrel’s advisory role, we focused on clear messaging that highlights the firm’s capabilities in sectors such as UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Bahrain, and Jordan. The website’s structure was built around showcasing case studies, providing thought leadership articles, and highlighting the team’s vast experience.
To ensure a strong first impression, the homepage now features a powerful hero section that immediately draws attention to Kestrel Global’s key services and differentiators. Subtle animations and interactive elements give the site a contemporary feel while maintaining a professional tone. We also integrated a blog and news section to establish Kestrel as a thought leader, regularly publishing insights on the evolving business landscape in the Middle East.
Responsive Design and SEO
Given the firm’s international client base, it was essential that the website was fully responsive, offering a seamless experience whether accessed from a desktop, tablet, or mobile device. Additionally, we implemented an SEO strategy to improve search engine rankings, helping potential clients find Kestrel Global through organic search, particularly for terms related to business strategy and expansion in the Middle East.
